Good results!

Eindelijk even weer tijd voor een kort berichtje!

We hebben dan ook een spannende tijd achter de rug…..onze zoon heeft eindexamen gedaan, de dag na zijn laatste examen moest hij voor zijn rijbewijs en weer een dag later vloog hij naar Spanje om met een vijftal vrienden bij te komen van alle examendrukte. Maar alles is goed afgelopen, hij is heelhuids uit Spanje teruggekeerd, heeft zijn rijbewijs in één keer gehaald en als klap op de vuurpijl ook zijn VWO diploma! Bij ons kon de vlag dus uit!

At last I found some time for a short post.

We have had some real exciting days….our son had his final exam, the day after his last exam he had to do a driving test and the next day he flew to Spain with a few friends to relax and recover of all the commotion. But everything turned out very well, he returned unharmed back from Spain, he got his driving licence and he passed his exam of secondary school. So we could put out the flag!

En ik kon het natuurlijk niet laten om nog wat kleine creatieve details toe te voegen aan de feestvreugde, zoals deze houten vlaggetjeslijn …

And of course I had to add some creative items to increase the festivities, like this little wooden line of flags...

En natuurlijk mocht het gebak ook niet ontbreken!

And of course some patisserie cannot be missed!

Al met al zijn het toch wel bijzondere dagen, aan de ene kant ben je blij, opgelucht en trots over de behaalde resultaten, maar aan de andere kant is er ook het besef dat de kinderen nu echt groot worden en steeds meer hun eigen weg zullen gaan kiezen….

The last days were very special, on the one hand you are pleased and proud of the achieved results but on the other hand the awareness that the children are really getting older and choosing more and more their own direction in live….
