Het vriest nog steeds dat het kraakt en met deze kou verdienen de vogeltjes wel wat extra aandacht! Het “watervalletje” in onze vijver stroomt nog steeds en daar maken de merels dankbaar gebruik van. Ze gebruiken het als drinkwater en als badkamer!
It is still freezing very hard and with this cold weather the birds deserve some extra attention! The little “waterfall” in our pool is still floating and the blackbirds just love it, they use it as their bathroom and for drinking!
Maar het leukste vind ik toch wel de koolmeesjes, ze vliegen af en aan ze genieten van alle lekkere dingen die we voor ze hebben geserveerd!
But I enjoy very much watching the great tits, they fly on and off enjoying the delicious things we served them!
En onze “ijzeren" kraanvogel die al jaren de wacht houdt bij de vijver is ook door de kou bevangen…
And our “iron” crane watching over the pool for several years, is seized by the cold….. 
De kraanvogel met zijn lange poten inspireerde me tot het maken van een stoffen exemplaar…het is nog een “prototype” ik ga er nog wel een aantal van maken in verschillende variaties!
This crane inspired me for making one out of fabrics….it is still a “prototype” I intend to make some more in different variations!
En tenslotte een afdruk van een postduif op deze prachtige kussens die deze week in de aanbieding waren bij Intratuin. Mijn vriendin Erna had een aantal gereserveerd en was zo aardig om er ook 3 voor mij mee te nemen! En daarmee was het hele schap alweer leeg! Maar ik ben er superblij mee!
And finally a print of a homing pigeon on this beautiful cushions. They were for sale in a garden center this week and my friend Erna had reserved a few examples and she was so nice to bring 3 for me! The result was an empty shelf in no time! But I am so happy with them!
So far my “birdiespost” and that despite of the fact that I am not so fond of birds! I like to watch them, but I do not like it when they come too close with their fluttering and their beaks….
