Tilda addict

Ongeveer 1 jaar heb geleden heb ik het boek “Sfeer maken” gekocht. Een uitgave van "Ariadne at Home" gebaseerd op het boek “Tildas Hus” met creaties van Tone Finnanger, een Noorse jongedame. Het was mijn eerste kennismaking met haar stijl en ik was zo enthousiast dat ik direct na aanschaf al een aantal dingen uit het boek heb gemaakt.

About 1 year ago I bought the book “Sfeer maken”. It is edited by "Ariadne at Home" and based on the book "Tildas Hus" with creations of Tone Finnanger, a Norwegian lady. It was my first acquaintance with her style and I was so inspired that I made a few things right away.

Later vond ik op het internet nog meer boeken van haar, deze twee (in het Engels vertaalde) boeken; een kerstboek en een boek vol met leuke paas-ideetjes.

Later on I found on the internet two more books of her (in English translation); a Christmasbook and a book with Easter-ideas.

Momenteel ben ik druk bezig om allerlei ideeën uit het kerstboek uit te werken. Ik heb al heel wat dingen gemaakt, maar dat heeft ook een reden want half december organiseren we (mijn vriendin Erna en ik) voor het eerst een soort “Kersthuis” op de deel van haar boerderij. We zullen dan verschillende, door onszelf gemaakte, kerstspulletjes verkopen. Heel spannend allemaal, maar ik hou jullie op de hoogte van de vorderingen!

At the moment I am very busy working out all kind of ideas out of this Christmas book. I have made already a few things for a special reason. Half December we (my girl-friend Erna and me) will organize a kind of “Christmas-home” in her farmhouse. We will sell self-made Christmas-products, it will be the first time we organize something like this, so it is very exciting. I will inform you about our progressions!

En tenslotte vind ik dit wel het mooiste boek van Tone Finnanger tot nu toe: “Tilda’s Julehus”. In het Noors, maar met prachtige sfeerfoto’s en werkbeschrijvingen die wel redelijk te volgen zijn.
Zoveel inspiratie voor een sfeervolle kerst in Scandinavische stijl.

And finally this, in my opinion, most beautiful book of Tone Finnanger till now: “Tilda’s Julehus”, written in Norwegian, but pictures with a wonderful atmosphere and the description of the objects are easy to follow. So much inspiration for a cosy Christmas in Scandinavian style.
